Victor Silva has worked in the field of youth development for over 30 years. A dedicated husband and father of 4, Victor spent over 10 years working for the New York City Police Department as a School Safety Officer. A graduate of New Rochelle College with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Social Science, Victor worked as a juvenile counselor for the New York City Department of Youth and Family Services from 2013 to 2015. It was after his time as a juvenile counselor that he realized that he had a greater calling. He resigned from the position due to a injury on the job and now he speaks publicly about the injustice that occurs in the juvenile justice system to both the children and the staff. Victor is a valued member of Lupa Justice who will help us change this system.
