Timothy Fey is an integral piece of the Lupa Justice anti - bullying efforts. The description below illustrates why he is such an important member of the team.
Timothy is a graduate of the University of Rochester., NY, class of 1996 with a BA in English. He also received a New York State certification in the subject area of teaching English grades 7-12. He holds an Associates’ degree in Performing Arts for guitar from Westchester Community College, as well.
He has been teaching in public schools both high school and middle school since 1996 in the state of Rhode Island as well as later in New York.
He was a professional special education teacher at the Biondi School (Leake and Watts) in Yonkers, NY. He later took the position of the Education Coordinator for the Residential Treatment Center at Rising Ground , for the past 9 years.
While at Rising Ground, he established a powerful and important workshop to address and confront the issue of bullying and its effects on adolescents as well as adults. The legal implications imposed on schools by the state were wholly adhered to. The individual residents were always fully engaged in this mode of active learning and demonstrated positive long term changes in their behavior.
Lupa Justice is excited to have Timothy on the team.
